The Newburyport Youth Baseball School will run from June 23 to 27 (9:00 am to 12:00 pm) at the Newburyport Pioneer League Park. Boys and girls ages 6 to 11 are welcome.

Summer Figure Skating Clinic at Graf Rink, July 14th to July 17th

Where; Graf Rink, Newburyport
Cost: $230 for the full clinic or $60 per day.

The Graf Rink in Newburyport is offering a Summer Figure Skating Clinic July 14th to July 17th (Monday – Thursday) from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Application forms for the clinic are available online at the Graf Rink website

The Clinic is designed for a skater who is looking to polish their skills before the start of the September skating season. Skaters will focus on improving their technique during the 4-day period.

On ice activities include:  Group lessons, power skating, edge class and free skate.

Off ice activities include: Conditioning, stretching, strength training and arts & crafts.

The fee for the full four day clinic is $230 or $60 per individual day.

The 12th Annual Sachem Baseball School, located in West Newbury, will have two sessions for boys and girls ages 6 to 12.

  • Session One: July 21-25  (9:00 am to 2:00 pm)

August Football Officiating Course To Be Offered In Methuen

 Are you interested in becoming a football official for Pop Warner and high school football games?

If you are, then you may want to sign up for the training class being offered by the Association of New England Football Officials (ANEFO) in Methuen this August. ANEFO is holding a class for new candidates to become eligible to officiate Pop Warner football games and all levels of high school football.

Registration for ages 18 and over will be held on Monday, August 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Irish-American Club in Methuen. The fee is $100.
