West Newbury Youth Soccer Registration For 2010 Fall Season – Until June 18th

Where: Online at West Newbury Youth Soccer website.

West Newbury Youth Soccer is currently holding online registration for the fall soccer season.

Registration and payment must be completed on the West Newbury Youth Soccer website through June 18. Registrations received after this date are subject to a late fee and are only accepted on a space available basis.

Age Requirements

All West Newbury boys and girls entering kindergarten through fourth grade are eligible to play.
All girls ages 4 or 5 (as of Sept. 1 and not entering kindergarten) can participate in a pre-K program.

The 3rd Annual Newburyport Youth Soccer Association Spring Jamboree will be held on Saturday, June 12th at from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at World War Memorial Stadium, located behind Newburyport High School.

The Newburyport Youth Soccer Association(NYSA) is hosting its jamboree in conjunction with RESTORE (Restore Our Stadium), the non-profit organization that is raising money to renovate the historic World War Memorial Stadium. All proceeds from the jamboree benefit RESTORE.

Where: Cashman Elementary School, 193 Lions Mouth Road, Amesbury, MA

Registration is now underway for the Amesbury Soccer Association’s (ASA) summer recreational program. The ASA welcomes all players ages 4 through 15 (as of August 31, 2009) with any skill level.

It’s a fun way for beginners to get to know the game and a great way for advanced players to stay in touch over the off-season. Players from all towns are welcomed and do not need to be Amesbury residents.

You can register in-person on Thursday, April 29th, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Cashman Elementary School, Amesbury (cafeteria).

How To Register – Online:

You can also register online. You can download registration forms from the Amesbury Soccer Association website. Returning players and coaches also can register online from the website.

Fee:

The fee is $60 for registrations postmarked in April or at the in-person registration night on Thursday, April 29th , from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Cashman Elementary School cafeteria. If you register in May the fee is $70.

Discounts are available for families with multiple players and for referrals of new players. Financial assistance is available for qualified families.

Registration For Amesbury Soccer Association 2010 Summer Recreational Program

Registration is now underway for the Amesbury Soccer Association’s (ASA) summer recreational program.

The ASA welcomes all players ages 4 through 15 (as of August 31, 2009) with any skill level.

Schedule:

Practices start on June 7th and games will begin on June 19th. There will be one, one-hour practice each week for each team.

Amesbury Soccer Association Seeks Members For Board Positions And Other Committees

The Amesbury Soccer Association (ASA) has several openings on their board and on other committees. The ASA Board is responsible for running the summer recreational and competitive travel soccer programs.

Open positions include the following:

assisting in fundraising
team organization
coach development
program structure and operation
public relations.

Meetings are held once a month during the soccer seasons.

General Meeting: Sunday, November 15th, 7:00 pm

The Amesbury Soccer Association is having a general meeting and elections on Sunday, November 15th at the Community Room in the Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank, 43 Main St., Amesbury. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.

The Amesbury Soccer Association will host a fundraiser at Flatbread Pizza in Amesbury on Tuesday evening, July 14th. You can help support the Amesbury Soccer Association by purchasing pizza/dinner at the Flatbread Company in Amesbury from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds from each pizza/dinner will be donated to the Amesbury Soccer Association.
