Openings are available in the following school grades:

- 4th and 3rd Grade Boys

Sign-Up For Georgetown Lacrosse, Wednesday, January 13th

The Georgetown Athletic Association is holding sign-ups for the spring lacrosse season on Wednesday, January 13th at Georgetown Middle/High School from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
Cost:
The cost to play GAA lacrosse is $75 per player with a family cap of $175.

On Wednesday, July 29th, the Friends of Newburyport Lacrosse will sponsor an Alumni Game Fundraiser for both men and women at Newburyport High School’s World War Memorial Stadium.
Friends of Newburyport Lacrosse is a partnership between Newburyport Youth Lacrosse Association, Y Clipper Lacrosse, Newburyport High School Lacrosse and the Newburyport High School Boosters.
Come on down and enjoy two lacrosse games played under the lights!
Schedule:
Two games will be played:
- Women’s Lacrosse Game: from 6:30-7:30
- Men’s Lacrosse Game: from 8-9:30.

Lacrosse legends Mike and Casey Powell will host lacrosse clinics on Monday through Wednesday, February 23rd-25th at the Seacoast United Indoor Complex, Hampton, NH.
- Girls Clinic (all ages): 9:00 am to 10:00 am for $75.
- Boys Clinic (ages 9-13): 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon) for $125.
- Boys Clinic (ages 14-18): 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for $125.

The Newburyport Youth Lacrosse Association is now holding registration for the 2009 boys and girls season. Registrations are now being accepted by mail.
Students in grades K-8 are welcome. The season runs from the end of March through June. Practices meet twice a week at the Nock Middle School and games are on Sunday afternoons

Governor’s Academy Lacrosse Team Ranked Number 3 In New England

Dan Guttenplan, Sports Editor of the Newburyport Daily News, has a nice article about the Governor’s lacrosse team and how talented they are in today’s edition. It is worth a read.
How good is the Governor’s Academy lacrosse team? Well, according to a national power ranking system used to rate high school lacrosse programs, the Governor’s are ranked Number 3 in New England and Number 34 in the country. An amazing accomplishment.
