The Newburyport High School All-Sports Booster Club is holding its second meeting of the year on Thursday, October 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the high school’s cafeteria.

Topics of discussion will include the following:

• Food drive donations for the Thanksgiving game school
• Community spirit
• Parent liaisons for each athletic team at Newburyport High School

All parents of student athletes are encouraged to attend.

The Friends of Newburyport Hockey will be hosting their 7th Annual Clipper Cup Golf Tournamentto help raise money for Newburyport hockey programs at Evergreen Valley Golf Course, Newburyport on Saturday, September 18th.

All proceeds will be going to the high school hockey program and to assist in the development of Newburyport Youth Hockey program and its players.

Fee:

The cost is $100 per player. The tournament is a four-player, team-scramble format.  The cost includes 18 holes, cart, all food and beverages.

The lunch and raffle will be held at the Elks Pavilion on Low Street following the 18 hole golf tournament,

The Newburyport Gridiron Club will be hosting the 11th annual Clipper Classic Golf Tournament on Friday, July 16th at the Applehill Golf Club in East Kingston, NH.

The tournament will help raise money for the Newburyport High school football program.

Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.

Costs:

The cost is $125 per player.

All golf and sponsor checks can be made payable and sent to Newburyport Gridiron Club, c/o Jim Farrell, 28 Spofford St., Newburyport, MA 01950.
