The 17th Essex Music Festival begins at noon on August 28th at Centennial Grove on Chebacco Lake in Essex , MA. The festival incorporates a collection of local acoustic performers in a family oriented venue. Genres includes bluegrass, Americana, folk, blues, ragtime, celtic, cajun, sea shanties and country.
The festival is hosted by Old Cold Tater, a trio of accomplished musicians. Sponsors include the Essex Division of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, Woodman’s of Essex, performers, and volunteers. Net proceeds from the event go the restoration of Centennial Grove.
Fee: The donation is $10 for adults; children under 15 are free. No pets please.

After a one-year hiatus the Yankee Homecoming Brew Festival is back!
This year, the event will take place from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday July 24th and will serve as the final fund raising event for 2010.
ALL proceeds from the brewfest will go back to Yankee Homecoming!
BrewFest will take place rain or shine, under a gigantic tent, on the waterfront and adjacent to the boardwalk. More than 30 of the finest Craft Brews will be on site for you to sample from with live music from local favorite, Ol Brown Shoe!

The Bartlett Museum is a repository for artifacts relating to Amesbury, Massachusetts and the immediate surrounding area. Artifacts date from prehistory to the present.

10th Annual Newburyport Kitchen Tour
The Annual Newburyport Kitchen Tour has become a featured event in the summer in Newburyport. Proceeds from this year’s the 10th Annual Kitchen Tour benefit the Newburyport Elementary PTO.
This is a fun event, and a fabulous way to learn about the local builders, designers, architects, cabinet makers and view some of the finest kitchens in Newburyport.
All of the proceeds benefit the ever challenged school budget for grades Pre-K through Grade 5.
