Salisbury Beach is holding its annual 4th of July Spectacular celebration on Saturday and Sunday, July 3rd & 4th with two days of fun-filled events and activities, including a 20 minute fireworks show over the ocean at 10:00 pm on Saturday, July 3rd.
You can enjoy America’s star spangled holiday with music, fireworks, sand sculptures, campfires and more!
Blue Ocean Society Sea Life Discovery Center Now Open At Salisbury Beach, MA

The Blue Ocean Society Sea Life Discovery Center is now open for the summer in Salisbury Beach, MA.
When Open: Monday through Friday, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Location: 25B Broadway, Salisbury Beach, MA
The Sea Life Discovery Center at Salisbury Beach features marine life touch tanks, observation tanks, and interesting artifacts such as whale bones, baleen and a giant barnacle that came from a whale. Check out examples of the marine life from our local waters in the Gulf of Maine!
The center’s brand new, state-of-the-art touch tank was made possible by a donation from the Blue Ocean Music Hall in Salisbury Beach!

4th Annual Sand & Sea Festival, Salisbury Beach, Saturday & Sunday, June 26th & 27th

The summer season officially kicks off at Salisbury Beach with the 4th annual Sand & Sea Festival, an event that offers something for the whole family. The Festival is FREE with a small fee for some activities.
This year’s festival includes two event packed days of activities, including a 20-minute fireworks display launched from a barge over the ocean at 10:00 pm on Saturday, June 26th at 10:00 pm!

The Blue Ocean Music Hall on Salisbury Beach is gearing up for a strong summer season with a performance by Los Lonely Boys.
Five years after crossing into the mainstream with the GRAMMY winning single “Heaven,” the brothers take this opportunity to invoke the sound of a generation that walked the moon and transcended Woodstock. They lend praise to songs that provided a soundtrack for so many and inspired their own multi-platinum success.
With their signature blend of Latin rhythms, searing guitar leads and impeccable harmonies, the band takes the opportunity to trace their musical lineage through the following tracks: Carlos Santana’s “Evil Ways,” The Beatles’ “She Came In Through the Bathroom Window,” Tony Joe White’s “Polk Salad Annie,” and The Doors’ “Roadhouse Blues.”

32nd Annual Salisbury Beach Lifeguard 5-Mile Race, Saturday, June 26th

The 32nd Annual Salisbury 5-Mile Beach Lifeguard Race will be held earlier this year to coincide with the Salisbury Beach Sand & Sea Festival.
This year the race will be on Saturday, June 26th 2010. The event will start promptly at 6:00pm from Salisbury Beach Center – in front of the SurfSide5 restaurant.
The race is open to anyone, and you are encouraged to pre-register!
The 3/4-mile Children’s Fun Run will kick off from the SurfSide5 at approximately 5:45 pm.
Registration for both events will begin at 5pm at the Information Kiosk in Salisbury Center. The registration fee is $15.00 and includes a T-Shirt.
Proceeds frm the race benefit local charity as well as equipment and training for the Salisbury Beach Lifeguards.
