On the last Thursday evening of each month, PortMedia, Newburyport’s public access local channels 9 & 10, on the Comcast cable system, will offer Mini Media Workshops & Networking.
A variety of topics will be offered and suggestions from the community are welcome. The first workshop is called How to Organize Your Life With Google.
Learn how to set up gmail accounts for yourself and family and integrate them with Google calendar – send reminders – stay organized – a plus for any busy family.
Join us at PortMedia on March 31st from 7-9 PM at 3 Graf Road, Suite 11. Instructor Joe DiBiase will take you through the basics!

You are welcome to join the Wednesday morning hikes that are sponsored by the Ipswich Bay Circuit Trail Committee.
An informal group meets at the Town Landing on East Street, Ipswich at 9:30 am on each Wednesday from mid September to mid June. All are welcome.
The morning hikes explore the woods and trails in and about Ipswich. There are eleven miles of marked trails in Ipswich, Massachusetts, including a portion of the Bay Circuit Trail. These trails are maintained by members of the Ipswich Bay Circuit Trail Committee (IBCTC) with other volunteers, including Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and other organizations in Ipswich.

The Mass Audubon Society’s Joppa Flats Education Center offers a Wednesday Morning Birding program from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
If you’re one of the lucky ones that has time available during the week, join Joppa Flats Sanctuary Director Bill Gette and USFWS veteran David Weaver for this weekly birding field trip in the Newburyport/Plum Island area. It’s a great way to observe birds in the area and identify some of the better locations for finding them when on your own.

Join Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center teacher Lisa Hutchings on a search for harbor seals on Sunday, March 27th. She’ll take you near the mouth of the Merrimack River where these seals are commonly seen.
For families with children ages 7 and up.
Fee: $14 for children; $5 for adults (must be accompanied by children). Pre-registration is required.
