Estuary Exploration At Salisbury Beach State Reservation
If you want to learn about the salt marshes of the North Shore and the Salisbury Beach State Reservation, join the reservation’s staff educator for a journey back through time along the Salisbury beach coastline and explore the salt marsh.
Find out answers to such questions as: “How did it get there?” and ”Why is it so important?”
Learn about the creatures that call it home while playing games.
Wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty and wet (no flip-flops please). Don’t forget the sunscreen and bug spray!
Where To Meet: Meet at The Nature Center located next to the John Currier Recreation Area and Pavilion on the Merrimack River.
This event is appropriate for ages 6 and up.
