Want to learn how to play polo?
Peter Poor and his instructors will teach you the thrill of whacking in a goal from horseback to win the chukka! Horses, mallets, and helmets will be provided as participants learn the rules, skills, and strategies of polo, a sport that’s been popular for almost 2,000 years.
Participants must be in fairly good physical condition.
Sessions: Six 1.5 hour sessions: Saturdays, 10:00 a.m.–noon.
Begins Saturday, July 17th at Stage Hill Polo, 42 Low St., Newbury, MA 01951.
Directions: From Newburyport – take 1A S – turn right on Hay St. (street after Tendercrop) – Turn left onto Low St. – barn on right 1 mile from the intersection.
