The Friends of Newburyport Skate Park will host Skate Fest 2010 on Thursday, June 24th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Newburyport Skate Park. The park is located at the Nock Middle School in Newburyport.
The event will feature demonstrations by amateur skate boardiing teams and prizes for participants, raffles and great food including Giuseppe’s Fresh Pasta and Fine Food, Shirley’s Hot Dogs and Nick’s Pizza.
This is the skate park’s major event of the year. Money raised is generally used for park maintenance and improvements. The all-volunteer group recently funded cement repairs, and the park is in great shape.
Come on out and have fun and help support the Friends of Newburyport Skate Park.
