Where: Meet at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, 6 Plum Island Turnpike, Newburyport, MA.

The Parker River National Wildlife Refuge is offering a free Piping Plover Workshop on Saturday, April 3rd at its Visitor Center in Newburyport.

Come and learn about this amazing bird. You’ll learn about the natural history of the piping plover, participate in some plover activities, and even help to make a plover display. That display will be used to educate others about this bird listed by the federal government as a threatened species, as well as what we do to help it.

Space in this program is limited, so advanced registration is required.

Meet at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, 6 Plum Island Turnpike, Newburyport, MA
