Where: Meet at Parking Lot #1 in the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, Newbury, MA.

If you are interested in learning about the natural history of Plum Island, the Parker River National Wildlife Refugeis offering a free, 60-minute walking tour that will explore the natural history of Plum Island on Saturday, February 20th.

Join a refuge staff member on a walking tour as you explore and learn about the natural history of Plum Island.

You’ll learn about the how the island was formed, how it has been used by generations past and what functions it serves for wildlife and people now.

This program will be held entirely outside, so dress appropriately for the weather. Bring binoculars and/or scopes if you have them.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Space is limited to 10 people; register early!
