Wednesday’s High School Hockey Games At Newburyport Bank Classic, Graf Rink, Newburyport, February 17th

Newburyport Five Cents Savings BankThe 15th Annual Newburyport Bank Ice Hockey Classic, sponsored by the Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank, is underway at the Graf Rink, Newburyport.

The five day, 12-game Newburyport tournament, featuring 12 high schools (two Division One, nine Division Two, and one Division Three schools), has become a tradition in Newburyport over the February school vacation.

TOURNAMENT GAME SCHEDULE: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17th

Gulazian Division Consolation & Championship Games

Consolation Game:

5:00 pm – Amesbury (1-15-2) vs Pentucket (4-10-4)

Championship Game

7:00 pm – Saugus (7-10-2) vs Shawsheen Tech Championship Game (16-2-1)

Games ending in a tie will go to penalty shots for the purpose of advancing to the next round and determining the tournament champion. Consolation games that end in a tie will NOT go to penalty shots.
