The Winner’s Circle Running Club is hosting and directing the 19th Annual Turkey Trot at Maudslay State Park, Newburyport, MA on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, 2009, at 8:20 am.
This family oriented event is a 3.1 Mile X-Country Run/Walk through one of Massachusetts’s most picturesque State Parks. This is a hassle-free and traffic free running environment!
Proceeds from the Turkey Trot will be used to benefit local high school Cross Country teams.
Thanksgiving Donation For Salisbury Pettengill House Food Pantry
In the Spirit of Thanksgiving, please bring a can of food or $$ to help stock the Pettengill House Food Pantry. The Pettengill House Food Pantry provides staple food and personal care products to individuals, children, and families in need.
Cash Awards
Cash awards will be given to the top 3 Male & Female runners in the following categories:
- Top 3 Male & Female Open
- Top 3 Male & Female Masters (40-49)
- Top 3 Male & Female Seniors (50-59)
- Top 3 Male & Female Veterans (60+)
Merchandise Awards
Merchandise Awards will be given to the Top 3 Male & Female High School Students.

Turkey Trot Registration
All participants are strongly encouraged to Pre-Register for the Turkey Trot as there is LIMITED Race Day Registration available. You can pre-register via mail or online at the Winner’s Circle Running Club website.
Race Fee:
- $20.00 for Participants who register prior to November 20th (includes Long Sleeve Shirt)
- $13.00 for Participants who register prior to November 20th (does not include Shirt)
- Race Day Entry Fee: $25.00 (No Shirt)
- Student Special – High School And Younger : $8.00 with shirt if registered prior to November 20th (Note: high school students and younger only!); $15.00 for students who register on race day (no shirt)
- LIMITED Race Day Registration: 7:00 – 7:30 AM
NEW THIS YEAR – Race Number and Shirt Pickup for Pre-registered Runners
This year you can pick up your Race Number and Shirt on Wednesday, November 25, from 6:30-9:00 PM, at the Winner’s Circle Sports Bar, 211 Elm Street, Salisbury MA.
“Race Day” entries will be accepted here as well. Number and shirt pickup will also be available race day, but early pickup will allow you to “sleep in” (a little) and enjoy Thanksgiving Day hassle free!
