Are You Interested in Snakes, Turtles and Frogs?

Do you think snakes are cool? Are you curious about turtles? You’ve heard frogs croaking, but did you know that you can sometimes hear them singing?

Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center, Newburyport, invites families with children ages five and up to meet lots of different reptiles and amphibians from around New England at a presentation and demonstration on Saturday, November 21, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.

You’ll meet such fascinating creatures as a baby snapping turtle, a leopard frog, and a hognose snake, and you’ll find out why they’re so important to our ecological balance.

All budding herpetologists are welcome at this up-close-and-personal event.

Fees:

Adult fees are $10 for members and $12 for nonmembers.
Children’s fees are $6 for members and $8 for nonmembers.

Children must be accompanied by adults for this program.
