Holiday Open House!

Lowell’s Boat Shop, the oldest continuously working boat shop in America, invites you to their Holiday Open House on Saturday and Sunday, December 5th and 6th.

The shop will be festively decorated for the holidays and you’ll have the chance to explore the shop and purchase a wide range of unique holiday gifts.  The Holiday Open House will feature:

  • Art Exhibit & Sale
  • Boatique of Unique Gifts
  • Nautical & Mast Hoop Wreaths
  • Victuals – PJ’s Famous Fish Chowder!!!
  • Music by the Demijon & Three Sheets to the Wind

Lowell's Boat Shop Holiday Open House

Lowell’s Boat Shop, built in 1793 by Simeon Lowell, and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, is considered to be the birthplace of the legendary New England fishing dory, originated by Simeon Lowell.
