8th Annual Rowley Chili Cookoff, St. Mary’s Parish Hall, Main Street, Rowley, Saturday, November 7th

Where: St. Mary’s Parish Hall, Main Street (Route 1A), Rowley, MA

Rowley’s 8th annual “Some Like it Hot!” Chili Cookoff will be held Saturday, November 7th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, Main Street (Route 1A), Rowley.

Sponsored by Mercury Brewing and The Friends of the Rowley Public Library, proceeds from the festive (and tasty) community event will benefit programs offered by the Rowley Public Library.

The Cookoff includes a chili contest judged by local celebrities, including State Senator Bruce Tarr and State Representative Harriett Stanley.

Admission price includes cornbread, veggies, hot dogs, dessert and approximately 18 different and varied chili recipes, including red, green, meat and vegetarian options.

Ipswich Ale, Stone Cat Ale, Mercury soda and bottled water will be available for purchase.

Also featured at the Chili Cookoff are:

Craft activities for the kids
a 50/50 raffle
Door prizes
Live music by The Three Amigos Trio and guest musicians.

Tickets:

Tickets are $15 for Adults ($25 per couple), or $30 for a Family of Four (2 adults, 2 children), and are available at the Rowley Public Library and Old Town Bread and Salt Marsh Antiques.

Contestants Who Wish To Enter:

Contestants who wish to enter the chili cookoff contest can download the entry form and rules from the Rowley Public Library website. The deadline for entries is Monday, November 2nd.
