Strolling of the Dairy Herd, Appleton Farms, Ipswich, Saturday, October 24th

You’re invited to attend Appleton Farms’ free, special Strolling of the Dairy Herd on Saturday, October 24th.

This special event is being held to make a pledge to help stop the acceleration of global warming – and it’s all part of 350.org’s International Day of Climate Action.

The Cow Fest celebration includes hands-on educational dairy activities, a dairy quest, and tour the dairy barn during milking time.

The main event – the cow parade – features the farm’s herd of milking jersey cows and  Topsfield Fair award-winning heifers and calves (in costume!).

Please RSVP if you plan on attending by calling 978-356-5728, Ext. 15.

Join the Trustees of Reservations at America’s oldest continually operating farm – Appleton Farms! This working farm encompasses 658 acres of land.
