One Day Babysitting Training Course, Newburyport Youth Services, Saturday, October 10th

Newburyport Youth Services announces the creation of a new one day babysitting training course for the community.
The training course will be open to youth in the community ages 11 and older.
The class will take place on Saturday, October 10th at the former Kelley School from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The following topics will be covered:
- Learning how to interview with parents
- Learn infant and toddler care—diapering and feeding techniques, creative reading, activities for young children, and appropriate snacks.
- Handling bedtime issues
- Choosing safe and age-appropriate toys and games
- Performing First Aid
- Learning tips for having a safe babysitting experience
Cost:
The fee for the course is $40.
