When: Saturday, September 26th ,from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.Where: Meet at Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center, One Plum Island Turnpike, Newburyport, MA.
This is a great time of year for bird watchers in the Greater Newburyport region as many birds are in migration mode and are now passing through the area.
On Saturday, September 26th, Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center, Newburyport, invites birders to visit the Joppa Flats Bird Banding Station located on the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge for an up-close look at data collection on migrating birds that are passing through our area.
Pre-registration is required to visit the bird banding station.
Fee: $12 for Mass Audubon members; $15 for non-members.
Location: Meet at Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center, One Plum Island Turnpike, Newburyport, MA.
