Join Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center and Newburyport Whale Watch for a fun day of birding and whale watching on board the Prince of Whales on Saturday, August 22nd.
This is a nice opportunity to explore the waters not too far off the Greater Newburyport/North Shore coast and observe sea birds and whales that are in our region. It’s been a very good year for whale watching and Newburyport Whale Watch has had excellent sightings recently including humpback whales, finback whales, minke whales, and white-sided dolphins.
This birding and whale watching trip will be guided by marine mammal naturalists and Joppa Flats staff.
Location:
Newburyport Whale Watch, meet at boardwalk off Merrimack Street in downtown Newburyport.
