If you love listening to cool jazz, pun intended, make plans to attend the free jazz concert at Amesbury’s Upper Millyard Amphitheater on Thursday, August 6th.
An Icelandic jazz band, the Reykjanesbaer Music School Jazz Band, will be performing in a free concert at 6:00 p.m. in Amesbury’s Upper Millyard Amphitheater as part of the 3nd Annual Music in the Millyard series. The free concert runs from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The Reykjanesbaer Music School Jazz Band is a 15-person jazz band composed of students ranging in ages from 17 to 25. They perform a wide range of music, from swing classics to modern rock and jazz.
The band is well known for its outstanding band performances and travels extensively throughout the world. Past venues have included concert stages in Florida, Boston, Bermuda, Bulgaria and Spain.
