The Friends of Moseley Woods welcome you to join them at Moseley Woods Park for their 5th Annual Summer Concert Series.
On Wednesday, July 22, Kirsten & Dave, will be the featured performers at Moseley Woods Park’s 5th Annual Summer Concert Series. This will be the duo’s first performance at Moseley.
Kirsten & Dave’s diverse backgrounds are the key to their success at performing a variety of musical styles. Whether they are playing acoustic pop, country, acoustic blues or folk/bluegrass, their love for music is obvious.
Playing a variety of instruments, Kirsten & Dave swap off melodies and harmonies as they play a mix of covers and original tunes. They have many decades of performing experience between them and they have been playing together for over six years.
Kirsten & Dave have opened for Chris and Meredith Thompson, Paul Rishell & Annie Raines, and most recently, Guy Davis.
Moseley Woods Park, one of the lesser known local jewels in Newburyport, is a great place to visit and enjoy the smell of the woods, the views of the Merrimack river and some great music during the Park’s Summer Concert Series.
Free Admission But Donations Will Be Collected
All concerts are free admission, but they are fund-raisers for the park. Donations will be sought and will be used in their entirety for the upkeep and maintenance of the park.
This year, all donations will be collected for Lets March Against Cancer, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for cancer.
About Moseley Woods
Overlooking the Merrimack River in historic Newburyport, MA, Moseley Woods is an 16-acre public park featuring hiking trails, picnic tables, a well-equipped playground and a spacious pavilion that is home to a summer concert series.
A haven for nature lovers, dog walkers and children, the park is maintained by the Friends of Moseley Woods, a registered non-profit corporation established by members of the Moseley Woods Commission and the City of Newburyport.
