Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, Newburyport When: Tuesday, July 7th, from7:00 pm to sunset
Where: Old refuge headquarters site at 261 Northern Blvd. (near the lighthouse at the Northern end of Plum Island)

 ages 8 and older with adult.

Join Parker River National Wildlife Refuge volunteer Sue McGrath at the north end of Plum Island for an evening with the purple martins of Plum Island to watch their graceful flight and social antics.

You’ll listen to their gurgles and learn about their breeding cycle and migration.

Dress in long pants and long-sleeved shirt. Bring a comfortable chair.

For ages 8 and older with adult.


Where To Meet

Meet at the Meet at the old refuge headquarters site at 261 Northern Blvd. (near the lighthouse).

No registration is required.
