Book Sale During Yankee Homecoming

The First Religious Society of Newburyport is having a three-day book sale during Newburyport’s Yankee Homecoming celebration at its historic Meetinghouse on Pleasant Street, Newburyport.

The book sale will be held on July 30th (Thursday) and 31st (Friday) and August 1st (Saturday), from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Free admission.

All types of books will be for sale: hardcover and paperbacks for the whole family. Browse through bestsellers, mysteries, travel, etc., and a beautiful children’s section.

The book sale will also feature magazines, movies, and music, too. Most books will be priced from $1 to $3, but there will be a few valuables.

About The First Religious Society (Unitarian) Meetinghouse

The First Religous Society’s Meetinghouse on Pleasant Street, Newburyport, built in 180, is one of the more noticeable historic landmarks in downtown Newburyport. This ongoing and living piece of Newburyport’s rich historical history is still actively used more than 200 years later and is the center for many Newburyport-based activities.

The book sale provides you with a great opportunity to visit this historic property and help support the First Religious Society of Newburyport.
