The Book Rack Bookstore, Newburyport, invites you to join them on Saturday, June 20th, at 3:00 pm for a book discussion and signing with local author, Fran Larkin.

Mr. Larkin’s new book, 5 Words and Then Some, helps to define what is needed to succeed in today’s world. The author’s down home sensibilities, humor, and choice of quotes, captures the essence of the best in American culture today.

Mr. Larkin is a local Newburyport resident and was recently featured in the Daily News where he discussed how he put together a collection of advice for his own children and younger relatives as they graduated high school and college.

He soon found his work being passed onto other friends and when he received a letter from a young Penn State student who had appreciated his words during a tough time, Larkin knew had to get the word out.

The result is his new self published work that he will discuss at the Book Rack on Saturday, June 20th at 3:00 pm.
