Chez Boucher Culinary Arts Center Wins Best of NH ‘09 For Its Cooking Workshops
The editors of New Hampshire Magazine selected Chez Boucher Culinary Arts Center as the “Best of NH 2009″ for its cooking workshops. The results were published in the July issue of the magazine.
Chez Boucher Culinary Arts Center is a French cooking school established for the budding professional and novice alike. Located at 32 Depot Square in the heart of downtown Hampton, the full-featured center includes culinary arts education programs, the Gourmet Shoppe, a film production
studio kitchen, and the Chez Bouchon dining room.
Best of NH Poll
New Hampshire Magazine, the state’s largest lifestyle magazine, conducts the Best of NH poll, an annual, statewide poll that invites magazine readers, fans, and New Hampshire residents to vote in more than 100 categories from best local microbrew and best cupcakes to favorite restaurants in each of the state’s regions.
Along with the Readers’ Poll, Best of NH includes many Editor’s Picks. These picks are made by the New Hampshire Magazine editorial staff and encompass everything from favorite foods to bands and clothing shops.

Amesbury Days Fireworks Show And Concert, Saturday, Amesbury, July 4th

Newburyport doesn’t have fireworks on the July 4th weekend, but you can catch a great display of fireworks on Saturday, July 4, at Woodsom Farm as part of the Amesbury Days finale.
On Saturday, July 4th, Amesbury Days will close with an exciting fireworks show and music.
Concert
Enjoy the sounds of Audio Rush beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the Merrimack Valley Concert Band at 8:00 p.m.
Fireworks At Dusk

Summer Instructional Weight Training Clinic, Nock Middle School, Newburyport, Now Through August 7th

Where: Rupert Nock Middle School, Low Street, Newburyport, MA
Newburyport Youth Services and Jay Murphy, Proven Results Conditioning, will be offering an instructional weight training clinic for boys and girls in grades six through eight at the Rupert Nock Middle School, Newburyport.
The clinic is for beginners and/or those with weight training experience, and will be held in the Nock School gymnasium from 8:15 am to 9:30 am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from June 29th to August 7th.

Four July Summer Basketball Clinics at Triton Regional High School, Byfield

Four separate basketball clinics for players entering grades 1 through 9 will be offered this summer by the Triton Regional High School coaching staff.
The Viking Basketball Summer Clinics will be offered on the following dates:
- July 7th to 9th – 9:00 am to noon for grades 1 to 5; 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. for grades 6 to 9
- July 14th to 16th – 9:00 am to noon for grades 1 to 5; 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. for grades 6 to 9
- July 21st to 23rd – 9:00 am to noon for grades 1 to 5; 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. for grades 6 to 9
- July 28th to 30th – 9:00 am to noon for grades 1 to 5; 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. for grades 6 to 9
Cost
The cost is $100 per week, $150 for two weeks, $175 for three weeks, or $200 for all four weeks.

At 10:00 pm the festival will launch a spectacular fireworks display from a barge over the ocean just off Salisbury Beach.

6th Annual Newburyport Skatefest and Bike Rodeo, Thursday, June 25th

It looks like the weather won’t be an issue for the 5th Annual Skate Fest and 3rd Annual Bike Safety Rodeo takes place this evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Nock Middle School and Newburyport Skate Park (located at the school).
The event, originally scheduled for last Thursday, June 18th, was postponed for a week due to the extended period of rainy/drizzly weather that moved into our region.
This free, family oriented event will feature the following:

- and Local Demos!!!
