Birding Great Neck, Ipswich, Newburyport Birders, Saturday, June 13th

Where: Pavilion Beach, Ipswich, MA (Meet in parking area)
Fee: $15.

If you want to go birding in Ipswich and/or enjoy the scenic beauty of coastal Ipswich, Massachusetts, join Sue McGrath of Newburyport Birders on an exploration of the scenic Great and Little Necks sections of Ipswich.

Join Sue on a walking tour of scenic Great Neck in Ipswich. You’ll learn to identify birds, and Sue will discuss the birds that are encountered by the group. Some of the ares that will be explored and scanned for birds include Eagle Hill River, Clark Pond and Plum Island Sound, and the marshes of the Ipswich River and Plum Island Sound.

This is a great way to get familiar with these areas of Ipswich if you aren’t familiar with them.

Dress in layers for the weather. All levels of bird enthusiasts are welcome.

There is limited enrollment for this event and advance registration is required. Reserve your place today by emailing Sue at newburyportbirders@comcast.net or calling her at 978-462-4785.

Meeting Location: Meet at the parking area of Pavilion Beach, Ipswich, MA.

Note: There are no facilities at this location.
