November Food Drive at Newburyport Public Library
November 9, 2008
During the month of November, the Newburyport Public Library is partnering with Community Service of Newburyport, Inc. to collect food items to help stock their food pantry.
Community Service is a non-profit agency that provides food, clothing, and emergency assistance to those in need in the Newburyport area.
You can help by bringing in non-perishable canned and boxed food items (be sure to check the expiration date on all items) during the month of November.
Collection boxes are located in the Library lobby and Children’s Room at 94 State Street, and at the Emma Andrews Branch Library at 77 Purchase Street.
For more information please call the Library at 978-465-4428 or Community Service at 978-465-7562.
