Mercury Brewing Company of Ipswich is hosting its annual Ipswich Ale Harvest Festival on Sunday, September 21st at Green Meadows Farm in Hamilton, MA. Green Meadows Farm is a certified organic farm raising vegetables, fruits and heritage breeds of livestock in Hamilton, Massachusetts.

This is a great opportunity to sample Mercury Brewing’s outstanding selection of Ipswich Ales, Stone Cat Ales & Lagers - as long as you are of legal drinking age). If you’re not into the ales and lagers, then sample Mercury Brewing’s excellent line of Mercury Soda Pop (soft drinks) and Bubbly Waters.

All of these products will be available for purchase at the Harvest Fest. Special cask conditioned ales will also be available.

The Ipswich Ale Harvest Festival is a family event with food, music and activities for the kids. Food will be provided by Ipswich Clambake and music by the Orville Giddings Band.

Mercury Brewing Company produces 47 different beers and 19 soft drinks. In 2007 the company’s beer production topped 14,000 BBLs (434,000 GAL), a 44% increase from 2006. Soda production rose to 1180 BBLs (36,580 GAL), an increase of 22% from the previous year.

Ipswich Ale, a North Shore classic, is a medium-bodied, unfiltered English style pale ale with subtle hoppiness and a smooth malty flavor. Ipswich Original Ale  was named one of the World’s Ten Best Beers by Wine Spectator Magazine.

So Take Asbury St. North from 1A/Bay Road in Hamilton. Route 1A is can be easily accessed via Exit 20A off of 128.
