Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Provided Over $135K In 2nd Quarter of 2008

Continuing its strong tradition of community support, the Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank announced that its Charitable Foundation provided $135,545 in grants to nine local nonprofit organizations during the second quarter of 2008.

Grant recipient organizations supported by the Charitable Foundation of the Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank included the following:

• Anna Jaques Hospital
• Belleville Improvement Society
• Merrimack Valley Hospice
• Newburyport Education Foundation
• Proprietors of Oak Hill Cemetery

• River Valley Charter School Foundation
• Triton Education Foundation
• The Pettengill House
• The Hugh Doyle Resource Center
• The West Newbury Council on Young Children
