Newburyport’s Yankee Homecoming, Sunday, July 27th

July 27, 2008

Yankee Homecoming, Newburyport

Yankee Homecoming, which runs from Sunday, July 27th to Sunday, August 3rd, officially gets underway today with a boat load of events.

Local residents are of two mindsets concerning the Yankee Homecoming week – they either love it or they hate it. This is usually the busiest/most crowded week in downtown Newburyport of the year.

If you’re not into crowds, then this is a great time to enjoy the outdoors at Plum Island, the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, Maudsley State Park or a host of other activities outside of downtown Newburyport.

If you do love festivals and events and crowds, then Yankee Homecoming has lots to offer you and your family.
