Jump ‘n’ Jive at Salisbury Beach, Friday August 1st

Rico Barr and the Jump ‘n’ Jive Review take over the mall at Salisbury Beach tomorrow night for a free concert from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Nominated as Swing Band of the Year by the National Swing Awards, the band’s repertoire goes beyond Latin, ballroom and swing to include dance music, classic rock, pop, jazz and more. In addition to such hits as “The Guido Shuffle” and “Robin Hood,” a remake of an old Louis Prima record, the band will be featuring selections from its just-released CD, “This Is It.”

The free concert is being sponsored by the Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank.
