Spring Saltwater Fishing Season Now Underway

April 15, 2008

You know that the good weather isn’t too far away when you start noticing local Offshore and Deep Sea Fishing Reports.

Al Gauron Deep Sea Fishing, Hampton Beach, NH started their season April 1st.  While the seas and weather have been rough early on for these hardy early season fishermen, conditions have been improving.

Captain Rocky Gauron reports that cod, haddock and pollock are showing up in great numbers on Jeffreys Ledge.  He also reported that nothing has been going on in the Hampton River in the way of stripers (striped bass), flounder or baitfish. He doesn’t expect to see much action in the Hampton River until the water temperature reaches fifty degrees.
