Nice Wrap-up of High School Hockey Season in Boston Globe

March 20, 2008

Julian Benbow has a nice wrap-up of the 2007-2008 High School Hockey season in his article in today’s edition of the Boston Globe. He was really impressed with the level of play in the Division Two North bracket and describes how exciting the Newburyport Clippers were to watch in the tournament, especially in their thrilling 6-5 win over Gloucester with only nine seconds left in regulation time. The Clippers had a a great run in the tournament even with their loss to a very tough Tewksbury team.

It was nice to see that a Cape Ann team, the Wilimington Wildcats, won the Division Two North title. The Cape Ann League schools had a great season and were well represented in the tournament.
